The European Computer Driving Licence is a globally recognised (ICT) qualification, supported by national governments and computer societies.
If you have little, or even no, computer knowledge then the ECDL course is ideal for you. It will enable you to develop useful IT skills to enhance your career prospects and, as such, is ideal for those looking for work which requires IT skills, or those in work who are looking to take on new tasks and projects (such as using Excel or PowerPoint for the first time).
The ECDL / ICDL qualification consists of seven modules, which can be taken either separately or all together depending upon the needs of the student. Work books are provided for each module, along with a tutor to assist with the course. The modules are:
1. IT User Fundamentals
2. Using email and the Internet
3. Word processing
7. Security for IT Users

Duration: This course can be completed in stages, at a pace that suits you. Drop-in sessions run every Thursday, from 4-8pm.
